What materials are best for permanent ball field sponsor signs?

Corrugated plastic is not a good material for this application. It is a very economical material for temporary signs, but not suitable for long term, permanent use. It is not very UV resistant and usually will not hold up for more than a year or two. For permanent signs, we recommend using a composite or aluminum material. the cost is comparable to wood, and they hold up very well in all kinds of weather. They require little or no maintenance and will generally look good for 5 – 10 years. A heavy weight banner vinyl will generally out last most corrugated plastics, and is a more economical solution. We have seen banners last for many years when properly installed and maintained.
